So...why am I so passionate about the Thrive Home Store Concept?

I have always been a believer in the Home Store concept.  It just makes sense.  Why not buy 3 boxes of cereal when it goes on sale instead of just one, so you don't have to run to the store for each and every meal you are having?  Even when I was first married, we always picked up an extra can of beans at the store, or in my husband's case, an extra bottle of BBQ sauce.  We kept a little extra rice, beans, wheat, noodles, and oats on hand...just in case.

Then my husband went 8 months without a paycheck. That extra rice and wheat became a life saver for us.  Though it was a stressful time for us, we never wondered where our next meal was going to come from during that time.  There was always something to eat.

As time went on, we gradually added things like canned veggies and spices (for those beans).  But we never had cheese available to store long term, and I was on the lookout for a way to have cheese!  That's when I discovered Thrive.  Not only was there finally a way to have cheese stored long term...it tasted GOOD!!!

I became hooked.  I found that I could have my cheese, along with a ton of other meats, veggies, and fruits - ones that are not even available as canned goods at the store. And...it tastes GOOD!!!  Good enough to eat any time - when I am short on time, or missing an ingredient, or camping, or craving a snack.  Not only does it taste good, the quality is so fantastic - no GMOs or preservatives, harvested at peak nutrition...I wonder how I ever lived without it!

I decided to become a Thrive consultant because I want to teach others how to be more self reliant, and how to cook using freeze dried food. I am absolutely passionate about the need everyone has to get their own Home Store, and I just love the fabulous quality of the Thrive freeze dried food that is available to us.  Thrive makes my life so much easier because now I am not forced to make grocery store runs every other day for that one ingredient I need.  It's already in my pantry!
