Cinnamon & Pear Oatmeal in a jar
serves 4
2 ½ c. Quick oats
¼ c. instant powdered milk
1/3 c. granulated sugar
½ tsp. vanilla powder (optional)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. freeze-dried diced pears
Measure all ingredients in the order listed into a wide mouth quart sized mason jar. Place an oxygen absorption packet in the top of the jar, then put on a lid and ring and close tightly. Attach a label with quick reference cooking instructions to the lid (download below). Store away from light to ensure a longer shelf life.
Cooking Instructions:
Remove oxygen packet. Dump contents of jar into a pan with 4 cups water. Bring to a boil & simmer for 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
